The Canadian Sphynx is so different from a cat, in our usual sense, that you don’t even know what surprises and attracts the most about it. Firstly, of course, he is naked with everything, he has absolutely no hair, but he is covered with a little fluffy, as inconspicuous as that of a peach. And that’s great. When you stroke it, your hand does not “stick” to it, but as if touching soft suede. Secondly, because of his “nakedness”, the Canadian seems very hot, much hotter than a regular “woolly” cat. So, the Canadian Sphinx is a “hot” North American guy, and since he is “naked”, you can clearly see his sculptured, well-developed muscles. And if you add on this innate grace, good jumping ability, courage and a desire for leadership, you get just the same Indiana Jones. Well, of course, the name itself – the Sphinx, immediately provokes an association: pyramids, sand, treasures of Ancient Egypt. The existence of an amazing breed of hairless cats, the so-called sphinxes, has long been known even to people far from felinology. But not every cat lover knows that there are several varieties of hairless breeds, namely: Canadian, St. Petersburg (Peterbold) and Don Sphinxes. What is the difference between these three breeds?
