These cats are the most pleasant creatures, because they are, in the literal sense of the word, hot and hairless. In Japan they are called nudists, they love to eat, their bodies are covered with cutest folds, they love and can be photographed, in general, we can safely say that the “naked Canadian” is unusual in both its appearance and behavior.

Unexplained mysterious occurrence

The history of the Canadian sphinxes (it is not worth all to cut to one comb, because there are other varieties) began in 1966 and, not surprisingly, in Canada. Canadian Sphynx – the most unusual looking cat

Canadian Sphynx Hairless cats undoubtedly attract attention with their unusual, exotic appearance. The huge popularity of these animals is not accidental. Sphinxes – artificially bred breed for decorative purposes. The causes of hair loss in the ancestors of these exotic cats are not clear, it is believed that this is some single mutation that the breeders supported by crossing bald cats with short-haired counterparts. At the moment, the breed is in the process of formation and does not have common standards.

In addition to its unusual appearance, the Canadian Sphynx has many features that distinguish it from short-haired and long-haired counterparts.
