What is an animal?

The Canadian sphinx is good-natured, peaceful, intelligent, has an excellent memory, is very well trained, playful: if he does not occupy anything, he, getting rid of boredom, will begin to play pranks. These cats are extremely loving and affectionate: they do not tolerate loneliness (fall into longing, become withdrawn and even aggressive), love their master very much: when he is at home, follow him on his heels, ask for his hands and, if allowed, sleep with pleasure next to him on the bed. They very well feel the mood of their owner, and if they see that he is out of sorts or ill, do not leave him and, with caresses and purrs, try to cheer him up. Appearance The width of the cat’s head is slightly less than the length, the muzzle has a rounded shape, the pads of the mustache are clearly pronounced. Ears of kittens remain hanging for a long time and begin to stand up not earlier than the third week of life – while the larger they are, the later they will rise. The ears of an adult are large, straight, slightly rounded, and wide near the skull. There is no wool at all inside the ear, while some is allowed outside and outside the base of the ears. The Canadian Sphinx has large eyes, slightly elongated to the outer edge of the ears. The musculature of the cat is well developed, the physique is average, the chest is wide, the skeleton is quite elegant, the stomach is rounded. At the tip of the tail, a “brush” of wool is allowed. Paw pads are larger than other cat breeds, fingers are long and developed. Kittens have very thick skin with a huge number of folds, which are subsequently smoothed out, and in adults they can only be seen on the neck, head, and a little on the body (the bigger the better). The Canadian Sphinx has a short mustache. The texture of the skin is suede, wool is usually not, but the likelihood that it can be covered with soft down is allowed. The Canadian Sphinx has a highly pigmented skin, so its color is clearly distinguishable. The main colors of the sphinxes: white, black, blue, red, cream, chocolate, lemon, cinnamon (cinnamon), pale light beige (fawn).
